| Allow me to introduce myself…
It’s pretty rare when someone goes to the “bio” page of a website before anything else, so I’ll assume you’ve read some of the material about my services and my approach to the mortgage business. Which means, you already know where my priorities reside – I’m all about service and the ultimate satisfaction of my customers.
I also know that sounds like a recording, a bit cliché, even a bit trite. So if that’s your reaction to what you’ve read so far, I ask you to let your intuition guide you further along in the process of selecting a mortgage professional. Because at the end of the day this really is a people business, and if you haven’t figured it out yet, I really do believe in that approach. |

I began my career…
… in the mortgage industry at Marc One Capital (no relation), a mortgage brokerage in NYC. We were written up in Forbes magazine and a few other publications, and were considered a top-flight outfit with an impeccable reputation. This is where I discovered the value of personal integrity and service in a business that too often focuses on the numbers, and that’s how I’ve been doing business ever since.
It took me less than a year to become the top producer in the firm, a feat I credit to product knowledge, out-of-the-box thinking and the fact that I was an enthusiastic student of the industry. And oh, did I mention a lot of hard work, too? These things, in combination with my natural affinity with people and solid communication skills allowed me to succeed early, which only fueled my appetite for continued growth in the industry. |

This success allowed me to move to Approved Funding Corporation…
… a significant mortgage bank with a national scope and a huge breadth of products and solutions for my clients. My initial position was as a Branch Manager in the Long Island office, and just as it did at Marc One, the combination of product knowledge and a strong customer service ethic yielded quick results.
In 2005, my branch was named Branch of the Year out of the 15 Approved Funding locations, and the next year I was recognized as Manager of the Year. Heady stuff, but once again it only made me hungry for more. I’ve remained with Approved Funding (hey, when you’re with the best team, it makes sense to stick around), playing a key role in the growth of the company and emerging as a leader in product expertise and the use of information seminars to attract new business. |

Despite all this corporate recognition, though…
… I do have a confession to make. I’m still in it for the one-on-one client interaction, the tackling of what sometimes seems to be an insurmountable problem and the development of a mortgage solution that meets the client’s specific needs, both short-term and long-term. The harder the problem, the more satisfying it is when my client shakes my hand because I’ve done what seemed to be impossible. That’s the juice for me, knowing that what I do makes a difference in the lives and businesses of the people who have come to me for help. And it’s precisely how I’ll continue to grow in this business.
So whether you’re a savvy real estate investor or a prospective first-time homeowner, I can make you this promise without compromise: you’ll get the best I have to give, both in terms of product knowledge and breadth, and the manner in which I get the job done.
